Chiles en Nogada: Patriotic Mexican Food
Everyone knows Mexican food is great, but if you have only eaten it outside of Mexico (like me for many years), you are missing out on some fantastically delicious things. Even tacos in Mexico have little resemblance to the hard shelled things we cook in the US. Here in Mexico there are no burritos (not good ones, at least), and nachos are called “totopos.”
Thanks a lot to The New World Review for publishing my Chiles en Nogada story. It might be the best food in Mexico.
