San Cristobal de las Casas’ Mercado Municipal
The Municipal Market in San Cristobal de las Casas is one of my favorite places in one of my favorite towns in Mexico.
When I visit San Cristobal (I’ve been there five times now), I go to the market almost every day – usually to eat in one of the little restaurants or buy food like fruit, vegetables, coffee, cacao beans, cheese, honey, candles, or whatever catches my eye that day.
Thanks a lot to The New World Review, a great site dedicated to food in Latin America, for publishing the story.
